You’re such an encourager, Mariska. Thank you for your sweet words, and for taking time to comment and share. I appreciate you. God bless you as you write and continue growing here on Substack. I am enjoying seeing you develop your style and have appreciated reading your work as well.
Thank you to you, for encouraging me, both to encourage again and to write from my heart. Thank you for the compliment. I am humbled and honored. It is only a pleasure to comment and share.
You are welcome, Susan Kuenzi. It does. Thanks for your encouragement too! I'm not too sure about how to go about the subscription here. Just trying things out in some ways.
If you want to subscribe you would just enter your email in the little box. Following works too. Subscriptions are a way to receive the newsletter in your email. Or do you mean you’re trying things out as a writer? Take care!!
Yes I do know that. Yes I am kind of trying things as a writer, you are right! But still, I do not have much lengthy stuffs to share about too! Therefore, I'm trying my Substack through the notes I write first! From there, I will see how it goes! I'm kind of feel God is leading me here in a way to share His words! 👍🩷
This was my response to the note mentioned above: Jeannie, your response to his article really intrigued me. Thank you for this vulnerable, honest note. I am trained as a counselor and naturally I feel like saying, “Tell me more.” Only because I truly care about what you are saying here.
I thought about whether I feel those things. Rarely. Here on Substack, I have felt a marvelous freedom to be myself. I recognize my words won’t resonate with everyone. I am pretty open and at ease with who I am and what I have to say comes from my heart. But I wonder if this has to do with how we feel about ourselves and the trust we have that our identity and worth isn’t attached to our performance or the opinions of others.
I wrote an article earlier about rejection, criticism and affirmation. Obviously this topic is one that I have reflected on.
I am interested in ways you feel you have put a barrier between yourself and readers. Thanks for your openness here. You gave me some things to reflect on.
Excellent!
Thank you so much Susan. This gives me so much affirmation and validity.
I write too. I love your writing style and I love reading the beautiful soul you are, in between the lines.
Be blessed more and more.
