My friend, Cris, shared this verse with us this morning with some words of encouragement:
*Scripture Speaks*
I have called upon this verse more times than I can count, and every time I have, God has tenderly spoken this truth to my heart.
“Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 NASB
Tuck this one away in your heart and mind.
If God has also used this verse in your life, please share it with us!
I reflected on this passage from Isaiah and others that encourage my heart.
We need encouragement, don’t we?
It’s so easy to lose heart.
Discouraging words from people we care about.
A critical spirit.
Financial stressors—unexpected expenses.
Health challenges.
Friends who seem downcast.
But He calls us to fix our eyes on Him: not on circumstances.
He invites us to rest in His peace and snuggle into His presence.
He pours out His grace. He waits for us to dwell in those green pastures beside still waters, to be nourished in the safety of His loving watchful care.
Dear one, you’re not alone.
He sees you.
He hears you.
He understands how big this is for you.
He is always glad to be with you and treats your weaknesses tenderly.
He can do something about what you’re going through.
Let Him love you and hold you close until you remember how safe and loved you really are. You are His beloved.

So beautiful and timely. I just shared this with my brother and also my former professor turned friend, and they both grabbed hold of the beautiful encouragement. My brother even said it was "right on time, someone I know needs to hear this." Ripples of His love and mercy flowing through the earth.🥹🙌🏽🤍. Love and blessings to you Susan.
We are not alone in the invisible - we have God and that is comforting. But sometimes, too often, in the visible world, the alone -ness is very hard.
