One fun conversation on a thread I started was for those with Asian ties of any kind—whether you have Asian roots, have lived or worked in Asia, or you’re an immigrant to another country with an Asian background, we’d love to have you join the conversation. In the summer of 2024, I did a project called Writing as Breathing: How Writing Changes Me. You’ll find a tab at the top, and if you’re a writer, you might really enjoy those articles and threads.
If you’re someone with an interest in mental health, or you live with a chronic health condition or disability, this is another theme I like to write about and explore. You’ll find a tab for Attachment at the top as well, and in Relational Spirituality, we learn more about how to form a more secure attachment with God and others.
No matter your background, you’ll be welcome and your voice and presence valued here. We are all human beings after all, and we can learn so much from sharing our hearts and lives.
I like to think of time shared here and connections formed like sitting around a campfire and sharing our lives and stories, or having tea with a new friend. I have never loved small talk. I appreciate people who open their hearts and go deeper. In a world where people often lead distracted lives, this is a place to slow down, reflect, and really listen to each other, from the heart.
