On the Sunday before last, as I was driving to church, a young man decided to change lanes without noticing my lane was already occupied— by me.

Crash!!! The sound and the impact still left me stunned and I winced in disbelief.

No way!!

I was just trying to drive to church, safely in my own lane, but out of nowhere I knew I’d been struck.

He struck my van, but somehow by God’s mercy, he hit me with his side mirror and then corrected course. But not without leaving his paint on my vehicle, and a dent that stretched a few feet on the back panel.
