Here is the sea, vast and wide...

Psalm 104:25

The sunset on the farm at Johanna brought glorious soft light that evening as the sheep grazed on the hillside. Johanna Beach, on the Indian Ocean (in Victoria, Australia), lies in the distance.

We had just spent a few hours on this beautiful beach near the Great Ocean Road, watching powerful waves coming in with the tide.

Isaiah 55:10-11
For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return without watering the earth, making it bud and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, / so My word that proceeds from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper where I send it.

Abba Father,

Thank You for creating the heavens and the earth, the dry land and the sea.

Thank You for the beauty of Your creation.

When I watch waves coming into shore with majesty and power, I am reminded that nothing is too difficult for you.

My heart is strengthened and encouraged.

Thank You for giving my friend and I those days in Victoria recently. I am so thankful for Your lovingkindness and grace.

Please watch over those we love, and orient our hearts towards Your heart.

Help us to abide in Your love and be nourished by Your Word. We worship You.
